Sleep calls through time, the Goddess and the God
On him who is the flame that quickens her
On she who is the salve that heals
That he and she may seize the silver reins
And ride as one the twin horsed chariot
Through spiritual encounters of abandon
Mysteries of life question not this sweet accord
It resonates a harmony that compels
The corresponding beat within the minds of each
For though they be mere mortals in wakefulness
Slumber invites the mind's eye, fusing spirits
Goddess and God crafting private heavens
Enchanting one another in a language of song
Eternal conversation and earthly love obtainable
